The taste is not as good as A. Squamosa or A. reticulata. It is not that sweet, not sour and not acrid, it just has a bit of strange taste.
The tree is very vigorous. Almost completely pest free. Tree yields a lot of fruit. The orange flowers are stunning and with the healthy leafs it is quite ornamental.
